Dr. Timothy Dixon is a fellowship trained Orthopedic Total Joint Reconstructive Surgeon. He attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. He graduated with a degree in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine where he graduated with honors in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his training in Orthopedic Surgery at Scott and White Memorial Hospital and the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center College of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement at Scott and White Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Dixon specializes in reconstruction of arthritic and degenerative joints of the hip and knee and the revision of failed reconstructions of the hip and knee. He also treats fractures of the upper and lower extremity, and performs arthroscopy of the knee. He believes and practices compassionate care for his patients to obtain the best possible outcome for the patient. He believes in early postoperative therapy to regain function of the joint after surgery to get the patient back to their way of life as soon as possible.
